Spurts of Computer Time

I am in Florida with short spurts of computer time and lots of emails to go through. Of course a lot of the last few days has been waiting or just being put aside for a while. I have had some trouble with the hotel computer connection. No computer for Dubby! How horrible!

The viewing and funeral went off smoothly. David put together a very nice powerpoint presentation and eight page book with lots of pictures of his father's life from the time he was born. They were remarkable. All of the guests were amazed and pleased to get such great insights into this multi-faceted man. He had served in the military so there was a flag ceremony at the graveside that is very beautiful and brought everyone to tears.

I have never been particularly close to any of David's family, but it was wonderful to have Bryan and Dianna come up for the funeral. Bryan adopted a big sister Louisa a few years ago and she came as well. Louisa is awesome. She doesn't have a birthday, which is very convenient. I can't forget it, and I can celebrate it anytime I want. I believe Bryan just calls it "Louisa Day". She flies internationally.

Bryan is now on his way to Cleveland and Louisa is gone back to Fort Lauderdale. Dianna is still asleep and I am doing laundry. We have lots of grunt work to do today. We are taking it all one day at a time.
